A-Tick Certification

A-Tick is a certification mark issued by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA) for communication equipment, and it has the following requirements:

Import and export must follow the steps below to use A-Tick:

(1) The product is tested according to the ACA technical standard;

(2) Register to use A-Tick with ACA;

(3) Fill out the "Declaration of Conformity Form" and keep it together with the product compliance record;

(4) A label with the A-Tick logo on the communication product or equipment;

(5) Sales to consumers.

Since November 2001, the EMI application of Australia and New Zealand has been merged; if the product is to be sold in the two countries, the following documents must be prepared before the sale, ready for random inspection by the ACA (Australian Communications Authority) or the New Zealand (Ministry of Economic Development) authority at any time :

1) The test report must be issued by NATA or a mutual transfer agency with NATA, such as a laboratory approved by NVLAP or A2LA to be valid, otherwise the sample delivery rate is very high;

2) Must be signed by an Australian or New Zealand company or importer. The manufacturer responsible for the signature is responsible for ensuring that the products sold still comply with the EMI regulations;

3) Original design drawings and specifications (such as: circuit diagrams, block diagrams, User's Manual and Service Manual, etc.);

4) Describe the production inspection procedures at the time of production to ensure the maintenance of EMI characteristics;

5) Any change description and necessary test records that will affect EMI.

 

Australian A-Tick certification information

1. The detailed contact address of the manufacturer of the product applying for certification and the party applying for certification;

2. A copy of the installation and use manual of the certified product that will be provided to the user (if the product does not have a user manual, a draft copy of the relevant content can be provided);

3. Product electrical schematic diagram and working principle description;

4. The working oscillation frequency table of the product should list the propagation path of the signal and the corresponding oscillation frequency;

5. Other product features that need to be explained.
