What is AS/NZS ISO 8124?
AS/NZS ISO 8124 is an Australian toy safety standard. The standard is mainly formulated with reference to the international toy standard ISO 8124, and is regularly updated and revised with the international toy standard. The AS/NZS ISO 8124 standard is roughly the same as other international toy safety standards, and mainly includes Physical, combustion, and heavy metal content requirements.

Australia & New Zealand's requirements for toys are mainly reflected in the AS/NZS ISO 8124 series of standards. For electric toys, the relevant safety requirements of AS/NZS 62115 shall also be met.
