Dust-proof

The IP protection level experiment mainly conducts rating testing for the dustproof and waterproof performance of the product. The letter IP (Ingress Protection) plus two digits indicates the level of equipment safety protection. The IP protection level system provides a method for classifying products according to the degree of dust, water and collision resistance of electrical equipment and packaging. The system has been recognized by most European countries, drafted by IEC (International Electro Technical Commission), and announced in IED529 (BS EN 60529: 1992) outer packaging protection class (IP code).

The IP protection level is usually expressed by two numbers followed by IP, and the numbers are used to clarify the level of protection.

The first digit indicates how far the device is resistant to fine dust, or how well people are protected from hazards in a sealed environment. Represents the level of preventing the entry of solid foreign objects, the highest level is 6;

The second digit indicates how waterproof the device is. Represents the level of water protection, the highest level is 8.

Dust class (the first X indicates)

1: no protection

2: Prevent the intrusion of large solids

3: Prevent the intrusion of medium-sized solids

4: Prevent small solids from entering

5: Prevent objects larger than 1mm from entering

6: Prevent harmful dust accumulation

7: Completely prevent dust from entering

Waterproof rating (the second X indicates)

1 : no protection

2: Water droplets dripping into the shell has no effect

3: When the casing is tilted to 15 degrees, water droplets dripping into the casing has no effect

4: Water or rain has no effect from 60 degree corner to the shell

5: The liquid splashed on the shell from any direction has no damage effect

6: Rinse with water without any harm

7: Can be used in the cabin environment

8: Can be immersed in water in a short time (1m)

9: Soak in water for a long time under certain pressure
